2023 Race for Water

Have you ever thought about carrying a bottle with 5kg of water and do hiking?  We are proud to say that some of our team members at Peterson did, and our CEO, Tony, has joined the team and taken on the challenge together.

Each team member has to carry a 5kg physical version of water inside the bamboo basket while completing a 15-kilometers hike along a mountain trail.   Hiking is more joyful when you go with a group of friends, and it becomes more meaningful while taking on the challenge together and helping those in need gain access to clean water. 

Two teams with 4 people in a group were formed in joining this event and they all finished the walk stretching all the way from Hong Kong Island to the New Territories and Kowloon.  The group contributed to the charity together and got a full set of special edition finisher medals after finishing the race.
