The “WaterWheels Event”
Inspired by beach lounge chairs and tricycles, the WaterWheels enable wheelchair users to flow safely and make the dream of enjoying the sun at the beach come true. Peterson advocates social inclusion and believes that people with disabilities can enjoy water fun at the beach too. Same as previous years, the event was organized by the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation (“HKSR”) and Peterson sponsored the event held on 23 June 2024 at Repulse Bay Beach. Around 8 wheelchair users, their family members and around 50 HKSR members & volunteers joined the event to have fun in the water together.
