London Theatre Company (LTC) is a start-up, independent producing company, co-founded by Sir Nicholas Hytner and Nick Starr, who both were directors of the National Theatre for twelve years. LTC positions itself as a new model for commercial theatre operator –integrating the currently separate layers of the commercial theatre business by owning the venues, designing the spaces and producing its own shows to provide a complete new experience for a traditional industry. LTC has announced the inaugural season at its new venue The Bridge Theatre, the first new theatre of scale to be added to London’s commercial theatre scene in 80 years and the first to be built outside the historic West End - on the river by Tower Bridge and City Hall.
